Dark Comedy Movies (Karakomik Filmler) (translated)

Karakomik Filmler is a 2019 Turkish comedy written, directed, and produced by Cem Yılmaz. Built around a "two films in one" idea, it pairs two mid-length stories, 2 Arada and Kaçamak, in a single theatrical presentation that opened in October 2019.

In 2 Arada, Cem Yılmaz shares the screen with Zafer Algöz, Ozan Güven, Cem Davran, Cemre Ebüzziya, and Uraz Kaygılaroğlu. Kaçamak brings Cem Yılmaz and Zafer Algöz together with Özkan Uğur, Necip Memili, and Nilperi Şahinkaya. Playing different characters across the two tales, Yılmaz shapes the film's dark-humored tone through this twin-story structure.

A sequel made with the same concept, Karakomik Filmler 2, reached cinemas on 17 January 2020, and the series later became available on Netflix.
