Ozan Güven — Biography

Ozan Güven was born on 19 May 1975 in Nuremberg, Germany. He graduated from the Modern Dance Department of Mimar Sinan University and trained as an actor at the İzmir Municipal Theatre and the Şahika Tekand Studio.

Güven had his first acting experience in 1998 with the series Çiçeği Büyütmek and became known through the series İkinci Bahar, Koçum Benim, Bir İstanbul Masalı and Canım Ailem. He made his cinema breakthrough as Mehmet in the 2000 film Balalayka and also appeared, above all as the 216 Robot in G.O.R.A, in the films A.R.O.G, Yahşi Batı, Pek Yakında and Arif V 216.

The actor, who portrayed Rüstem Pasha in Muhteşem Yüzyıl and Can Manay in the series Fi, played in Babil in 2020 and in Taş Kağıt Makas in 2024. In 2026, after allegations about his private life resurfaced, some of his theatre plays were cancelled and Güven apologised to the public.
