My Dear Family (Canım Ailem) (translated)

Canım Ailem (My Dear Family) is a Turkish television series blending family drama and comedy, produced by TMC Film. It premiered on ATV on November 18, 2008, ran for two seasons, and ended on June 9, 2010, with its 63rd episode.

The story centers on Samim, a man from Adana who reached his mid-forties without ever shouldering any responsibility. After his sister and her husband die in a traffic accident, he is left to care for their three children and must finally settle into an orderly life. Moving into a new neighborhood brings an unexpected reunion with the fiancée he abandoned years earlier, reopening old wounds. Meanwhile, his friend Ali, whom he met while working on a ship, finds himself torn between two romances. Their intertwined lives form a warm, lively neighborhood where quarrels and laughter coexist.
