Ezgi Mola — Biography

Born Mercan Ezgi Mola on 29 March 1983 in Istanbul, the actress trained in theatre at the Müjdat Gezen Art Center before joining the BKM Mutfak troupe in 2005, which led to her film debut as Berrak in Organize İşler that same year. A year later she reached wider audiences alongside Türkan Şoray in Uğur Yücel's Hayatımın Kadınısın.

Known for moving fluidly between comedy and drama, Mola played Latife Hanım in Zülfü Livaneli's Veda and won a devoted following as Efsun in Kocan Kadar Konuş and its sequel Kocan Kadar Konuş: Diriliş. She went on to expand her filmography with roles in Celal Tan ve Ailesinin Aşırı Acıklı Hikayesi, Dedemin İnsanları, Celal ile Ceren, Maide'nin Altın Günü and Organize İşler Sazan Sarmalı.

Standing 1.63 meters tall, she has also worked as a producer and appeared on television in the series Masumlar, establishing herself over the years as one of the recognizable names in Turkish film and television.
