Thou Gild'st the Even is a 2013 Turkish drama film written and directed by Onur Ünlü. Shot in black and white and noted for its distinctive editing and narrative technique, it blends fantastical and absurdist elements with film noir aesthetics to tell a love story. Filming took place in Akhisar, a town in Turkey's Manisa province.

In this seemingly ordinary town where nearly everyone knows each other, the residents actually possess extraordinary powers. Cemal, who lives with his father and works in his barber shop, struggles with troubles he cannot quite understand while confronting the town's hidden world. Starring Ali Atay, Demet Evgar, Damla Sönmez, Ezgi Mola, Cengiz Bozkurt and Ercan Kesal, the film won numerous awards at the 32nd Istanbul Film Festival, including Best Film and the FIPRESCI prize.
