Boss Wants a Happy Ending (Patron Mutlu Son İstiyor)

Boss Wants a Happy Ending is a 2014 Turkish comedy directed by Kıvanç Baruönü and written by Yılmaz Erdoğan. The lead roles are shared by Tolga Çevik, Ezgi Mola and Murat Başoğlu, with Erkan Can and Ersin Korkut also in the cast.

Producer İsfendiyar sends screenwriter Sinan to Cappadocia to write a romantic comedy script. Sinan settles into a boutique hotel but struggles, since he has no ideas and his producer keeps pressuring him to finish quickly. He meets Eylül, the daughter of the hotel owner İzzet Bey, is instantly smitten, and decides to base the screenplay on his own experiences. The obstacle: Eylül is engaged to the famous actor Faruk and wedding plans are already underway. Worse, Sinan and Faruk were once close friends until Sinan stole Faruk's girlfriend, turning them into enemies. Tolga Çevik performs a double role in the film, portraying both Sinan and İsfendiyar, who goes by the nickname Ferruh Abi.
