Sevtap Özaltun — Biography

Sevtap Özaltun is a Turkish television, film and stage actress born in Istanbul on September 12, 1984, with family roots in Arhavi, Artvin. She first encountered theatre at the Bakırköy Basat Artists Association in 2001, graduated from the Theatre Department of Haliç University Conservatory in 2009 and spent two years working with various theatre companies.

After appearing in commercials, she moved to television with Canım Ailem (2008) and became known through Fatmagül'ün Suçu Ne? (2010), A.Ş.K (2013) and the role of Derya in Ulan İstanbul (2014). She played Tümay in TRT's Sevda Kuşun Kanadında (2016), then appeared in Gülizar and Çarpışma (2018) and as Özlem in Kimse Bilmez (2019). In 2021 she joined Hekimoğlu as nurse Sevda, and most recently acted in Kara Ağaç Destanı (2024).
