Yahsi Bati - The Ottoman Cowboys (Yahşi Batı)

Yahşi Batı (The Wild West) is a 2010 Turkish comedy-western film directed by Ömer Faruk Sorak, and written, produced, and starring Cem Yılmaz. Its title is a wordplay on the Turkish phrase "Vahşi Batı" (Wild West), and it was one of the highest-grossing Turkish films of the year it was released.

The story is set in the late 19th century. Aziz Vefa, an agent of the Special Organization, and his companion Lemi Galip are tasked with transporting a valuable diamond, gifted by the Sultan to the President of the United States. While crossing the western territories by horse-drawn carriage, they lose the diamond to bandits, leaving them penniless and desperate to recover the precious artifact. In their quest, Aziz and Lemi embark on a bounty hunting adventure, encountering various local characters along the way.

Produced by Böcek Yapım, the film stars Cem Yılmaz alongside Ozan Güven, Demet Evgar, Cansu Dere, Özkan Uğur, Zafer Algöz, Uğur Polat, and Mazlum Çimen. Upon its release, it topped the Turkish box office for two consecutive weeks, becoming one of the most-watched films of its time.
