Crazy Love (Deli Aşk) (translated)

Deli Aşk (Crazy Love) is a Turkish comedy that arrived in cinemas on 10 March 2017. Murat Dündar and Murat Kaman shared directing duties, while the script was penned by Emrah Kaman and Murat Kaman. Produced by Cem Yılmaz under the CMYLMZ banner, parts of the film were shot in Adana.

At the heart of the story is Ekrem, an ice cream seller from Maraş. Determined to win over Neşe, the young woman he has fallen for, Ekrem finds himself caught up in an unrelenting chain of misfortunes and absurd situations. The film follows his romantic quest through a playful, comedic lens.

Emrah Kaman leads the cast as Ekrem opposite Pelin Akil as Neşe. The ensemble also features Şafak Pekdemir, Toygan Avanoğlu, Nilperi Şahinkaya and Burak Çelik in the role of Jeremy Jackson. Zafer Algöz and Hakan Altun make guest appearances, while producer Cem Yılmaz shows up on screen as Şefik. The film drew 128,844 admissions during its first three days in theatres.
