Ferdi Sancar — Biography

Ferdi Sancar was born on 24 March 1980 in İstanbul. He began his career on the theatre stage before stepping into television in 2013 with the series Babam Sınıfta Kaldı, followed by a role in the series Rengarenk.

Between 2009 and 2016 he appeared in films such as Yahşi Batı, Zaman Makinesi 1973, Hep Yek, Kardeşim Benim, Tutar Mı Tutar, Hasret Bitti, Küçük Esnaf and Nasıl Yani, and in 2017 he played the character Fahri in the series Ölene Kadar, in which Engin Akyürek and Fahriye Evcen shared the lead roles.

In the years that followed he became widely known for playing the minibus driver Sefer in the long-running TRT1 series Gönül Dağı, and in 2023 he won public praise after donating the only vehicle he owned, a 1998-model car, to earthquake survivors during a charity broadcast.
