Strange Stories (Acayip Hikayeler) (translated)

Acayip Hikayeler is a Turkish fantasy and thriller television series based on the comic stories of illustrator Galip Tekin. Produced by Metin Kalkavan, it debuted on Star TV on 13 April 2012.

The show follows an anthology structure in which every installment presents a self-contained tale performed by a changing group of actors. Musician Hayko Cepkin serves as the narrator of each episode: he opens by hinting at what that week's story involves and closes with a short verdict spelling out its lesson. Performers appearing across the run include Bülent Polat, Cem Uçan, Fatih Dönmez, İdil Fırat, Kaan Urgancıoğlu and Şevval Sam.

Eleven episodes were made in all. What aired on 22 June 2012 as an apparent season finale was later confirmed by Star TV to be the series' last episode, as the channel announced it would not return.
