İdil Fırat — Biography
İdil Fırat was born on 5 November 1972 in Ankara and graduated from the Theatre Department of Dokuz Eylül University's Faculty of Fine Arts in 1995, going on to work with the İzmir State Theatre, İzmir Children's Theatre, Ankara Art Theatre and Dormen Theatre. Also active in painting and photography, she gained recognition playing Billur in the 1999 series Deli Yürek.
After the series Bir İstanbul Masalı (2003), she appeared in the films Vizontele Tuuba and G.O.R.A. (2004) and took the lead in Münferit (2007). She played Berin Menderes in Ben Onu Çok Sevdim (2013), Despina in Poyraz Karayel (2015) and Mara Hatun in Mehmed: Bir Cihan Fatihi (2018), marrying fellow actor Mert Fırat that same year.
Following a role in Ramo (2020), she more recently appeared in the film Mucize Aynalar (2024) and joined the cast of the Prime Video production İki Dünya Bir Dilek (2025), alongside leads Hande Erçel and Metin Akdülger.
