My Rose (Gülüm) (translated)

Gülüm is a Turkish drama film directed by the seasoned filmmaker Zeki Ökten and released on 7 February 2003.

The story revolves around Ali Bey, a man abandoned by his wife after the loss of his daughter, while his son Sinan's marriage is also falling apart. Unexpected events begin to transform the lives of father and son in profound ways.

Starring Tarık Akan and Okan Bayülgen, the film's ensemble also features İdil Fırat, Rutkay Aziz and Okan Yalabık. A Turkish production, it offers a poignant portrait of grief, fractured family bonds and the possibility of change.
