Tamer Karadağlı — Biography
Tamer Karadağlı, a Turkish actor, director and voice artist, was born on 24 May 1967 in Ankara. His family lived for a period in the United States during his childhood, and he later graduated from TED Ankara College before studying theatre at Bilkent University. He entered television in 1993 with the series Ferhunde Hanımlar and became best known for playing Haluk Çetinoğlu in the long-running series Çocuklar Duymasın. His film credits include A Touch of Spice, Beyza'nın Kadınları and Memlekette Demokrasi Var, and he also appeared in the series Andropoz. In August 2023 he was appointed general director of the Turkish State Theatres, taking on a major administrative role alongside his performing career. Still active as both actor and voice artist after decades in the industry, he remains one of the familiar names of Turkish television and film.
