Three Pennies (Üç Kuruş) (translated)

Üç Kuruş (The Three Pennies) is a Turkish action, drama and crime television series produced by Ay Yapım, which premiered on Show TV on November 1, 2021. Directed by Sinan Öztürk and written by Damla Serim, Eset Akçilad and Murat Uyurkulak, the series concluded with its 28th episode, broadcast on May 30, 2022.

The story unfolds in Çıngıraklı, a colorful Romani neighborhood governed by its own harsh rules. When a serial killer begins haunting the neighborhood, Kartal, its self-appointed protector, is forced to join forces with Efe, the reckless commissioner of the Organized Crime Bureau, to bring the murderer to justice. Their uneasy alliance leads them down paths toward a name neither could have predicted. The leading roles are shared by Uraz Kaygılaroğlu, Ekin Koç, Aslıhan Malbora and Diren Polatoğulları.
