Super Dad (Süper Baba) (translated)

Süper Baba is a Turkish drama series produced by Kare Ajans and broadcast on atv between 1993 and 1997. Şevket Altuğ both starred in and produced the series, which ran for four seasons and ended with its 137th episode on 6 June 1997. The cast also included Jülide Kural, Seray Gözler, Sümer Tilmaç, İsmet Ay, Şevval Sam and Bennu Yıldırımlar.

The story follows Fikret Aksu, known as Fiko, a divorced father of three living in the Çengelköy neighborhood, portraying his bond with his children and his romantic life with a warm, everyday tone. The series drew great attention during its run and won the Golden Butterfly Award for Best Series. A flood at the atv studios in 1995 damaged part of the archive, and some episodes of the series were unfortunately lost.
