Sevinç Erbulak — Biography

Fatoş Sevinç Erbulak was born on 20 October 1975 in Istanbul, the daughter of actors Altan Erbulak and Füsun Erbulak. She graduated from the Classical Ballet Department of the Istanbul University State Conservatory, then trained in theatre at the Müjdat Gezen Art Center, where she later taught. From the second half of the 1990s she performed with the Hadi Çaman Theatre, the Levent Kırca Oya Başar Theatre and the Istanbul City Theatres; she served on the jury of the 17th Afife Theatre Awards and appeared in the 2013 play Gezerken.

She made her screen debut in the series Süper Baba (1993), and went on to appear in Baba Evi, Kuzenlerim, Çemberimde Gül Oya and Reha Erdem's award-winning film Beş Vakit (2006); she played Ruhsar in Son Bahar (2008) and Betül in No:309 (2016), and appeared in Erkenci Kuş (2018) and Senden Daha Güzel (2022). She published the book "Gözünü Kırpma, Düşerim" in 2002, and continues to teach acting at Erbulak Evi, an institution she co-founded with her sister Ayşe Erbulak in 2014. She married Volkan Cengen in June 2021.
