The Early Bird (Erkenci Kuş) (translated)

Erkenci Kuş (The Early Bird, English title: Daydreamer) is a Turkish romantic comedy series produced by Gold Film that aired on Star TV from June 26, 2018 to August 6, 2019, ending with its 51st episode after two seasons. Directed by Çağrı Bayrak, the series was written by Aslı Zengin and Banu Zengin.

Starring Demet Özdemir and Can Yaman, the story follows Sanem, a young woman who dreams of becoming a writer and begins working at the advertising agency where her sister is employed, only to cross paths with the free-spirited photographer Can. The ensemble cast also includes Özlem Tokaslan, Cihan Ercan, Öznur Serçeler, Birand Tunca and Berat Yenilmez. The series became an international hit, setting viewership records in Italy on Canale 5 and winning Best Romantic Comedy Series at the 45th Golden Butterfly Awards.
