İpek Tenolcay — Biography

Known by her full name Hamide İpek Tenolcay, she is a Turkish model turned actress born in Istanbul, who spent years modelling before making her television debut in a 1994 series and later also worked as a presenter. After a lead part in Örümcek she became widely recognised for playing Nesrin Çakır in Kurtlar Vadisi, a performance that brought her a best supporting actress prize at a 2005 television awards ceremony. In the years that followed she took roles in Umutsuz Ev Kadınları, Zeytin Tepesi as Zuhal Gökçener, Bana Baba Dedi, Erkenci Kuş and Seviyor Sevmiyor, among others. More recently she has played Zeynep in Ada Masalı, the mother of Nazlı in Kırmızı Oda, and Neşe in Aile. She speaks English well and is the mother of one child.
