Birsen Dürülü — Biography

Birsen Dürülü was born on March 26, 1969, in Ankara. Trained at the Sorbonne University Drama Workshop, the Ankara Art Theatre and in Yıldıray Akıncı's acting classes, she began her career on stage before moving into film and television.

Over a career spanning more than three decades, she has appeared in films such as Düttürü Dünya (1988), Geriye Kalan (2012) and Aşk Sana Benzer (2015), and in series including Siyah İnci (2017) and Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu.

She played the character Nergis in the 2018 film Çocuklar Sana Emanet, and remains one of the recognizable character actors of Turkish film and television with an extensive filmography.
