The Children Are Entrusted to You (Çocuklar Sana Emanet) (translated)

Çocuklar Sana Emanet ("The Children Are Entrusted to You") is a 2018 Turkish drama-thriller written and directed by Çağan Irmak. Produced by Şükrü Avşar under the Avşar Film banner, the 105-minute feature opened in cinemas on 23 March 2018, distributed by Mars Entertainment Group.

Built around the question of how things would look if we could see our own darkness through someone else's eyes, the story follows Kerem, a man who arrives in a small town after a traumatic accident and finds himself confronted with a series of unsettling events told in a tense, suspenseful register.

Engin Akyürek stars as Kerem, joined by Hilal Altınbilek as Yeşim, Şerif Sezer as Zişan Nine, Birsen Dürülü as Nergis and Osman Alkaş as Derviş. Gökhan Tiryaki served as director of photography.
