The Heart Thief (Gönül Hırsızı) (translated)

Gönül Hırsızı (The Heart Thief) is a Turkish television series produced by Tekden Film that blends romantic comedy with drama. It aired on TRT 1 from December 2, 2013 to April 18, 2014, concluding after a single season of 19 episodes.

The story centers on Tarık and Necdet, two brothers from a divorced family who share a carefree, idle bachelor life under the roof of their mother, Neriman. When Tarık's great love, Hülya, leaves him because of his lazy ways, he and his equally indolent friends are forced to face the realities of life. Nadir, an older brother figure who watches over them, tries to prepare the young men for adulthood through the stories he tells.

Directed by Ayhan Özen and Yahya Samancı, the series was written by Hasan Kaçan, Baykut Badem, and Filiz Ekinci. Cem Kılıç and Tuğçe Kazaz headline the cast, which also features Hasan Kaçan, İpek Tenolcay, Özge Sezince, İlayda Alişan, and Gökhan Karacık.
