Gökhan Karacık — Biography

Gökhan Karacık was born on 20 July 1986 in Elazığ. A graduate of the Performing Arts Department at Sakarya University, he also received conservatory training at the Müjdat Gezen Art Center. He began his career in 2010 with the series Kanıt, followed by roles in Şubat (2012) and Gönül Hırsızı (2013). In 2014 he joined the cast of Diriliş Ertuğrul, which began airing on TRT 1, and became widely recognized for the character Derviş. The actor is married to Gökçe Başusta.
