Umutsuz Ev Kadınları is a Turkish comedy-drama television series produced by Medyapım, adapted from the American series Desperate Housewives. It premiered on Kanal D on October 2, 2011, moved to FOX (now NOW) from its 55th episode onward, and concluded after five seasons with its 154th episode on June 19, 2014.

The leads are shared by Bennu Yıldırımlar, Songül Öden, Ceyda Düvenci, Özge Özder, and Deniz Uğur; the series follows a group of neighboring women whose relationships and family secrets surface over the course of the story. Later seasons added cast members including Erkan Bektaş and Hakan Eratik.
