Pelin Körmükçü — Biography

Pelin Körmükçü is a Turkish theatre, film and television actress and voice artist, born on 10 February 1970 in Istanbul. She is the sister of actor Hazım Körmükçü and the cousin of Hikmet Körmükçü.

Körmükçü began her artistic career in 1988 as a television actress and first appeared in front of the camera in 1989 with the series İz Peşinde. In 1994 she worked with Hadi Çaman at the Yeditepe Oyuncuları theatre company, and later joined the ensemble of the Beşiktaş Cultural Center; alongside theatre, she also did voice-over work.

Throughout her career she appeared in many productions such as Bir Kadın Düşmanı, Cümbüş Sokak, Tatlı Kaçıklar, Yılan Hikayesi, Bir Demet Tiyatro, Taşların Sırrı and Umutsuz Ev Kadınları. She played the character Chief Inspector Gonca in the series Arka Sokaklar, portrayed Suzan in the 2012 film Sen Kimsin?, and appeared before audiences in the series Ramo in 2020.
