In Pursuit of a Trace (İz Peşinde)

İz Peşinde is a Turkish action and police drama series that began on TRT 1 in 1990 and wrapped up in 1995. Directed by Hüseyin Karakaş from a screenplay by Avni Özgürel, the show aired 29 episodes across three seasons, portraying the hard-edged conflict between law enforcement and the criminal underworld.

After two seasons broadcast in 1990 and 1991, the series went on a four-year hiatus before returning in 1995 on Star TV under the title Kanundan Kaçılmaz for a six-episode third season. Its final episode aired in August 1995, bringing the run to a close.

The leading roles were played by Mehmet Aslantuğ, Erol Taş, Gülen Karaman and Osman Yağmurdereli. The extensive supporting cast also included Ece Uslu, Pelin Körmükçü, Salih Kalyon, Bahtiyar Engin and Kenan Bal, who appeared in various episodes throughout the series.
