A Woman's Enemy (Bir Kadın Düşmanı) (translated)

Bir Kadın Düşmanı (A Woman's Enemy) is a 1991 Turkish drama film directed by Hüseyin Karakaş from a screenplay by Ülkü Karaosmanoğlu, adapted from Reşat Nuri Güntekin's novel of the same name. The color production runs 80 minutes, features music by Özkan Turgay and cinematography by Abdullah Gürek, and was produced by Osman Yağmurdereli and Enver Özer.

The story follows Ziya, a naval engineer who has poisoned his own life through his passion for Zuhal, the wife of his partner Necdet, and the mistakes of his past. When Necdet dies of kidney failure, Ziya is devastated and turns into an enemy of women; he leaves Istanbul to settle in a small town, where he meets Sara. The cast includes Tarık Akan, Meltem Doğanay, Şebnem Eren, Kamil Sönmez, and Pelin Körmükçü.
