Bülent Alkış — Biography

Bülent Alkış was born on July 25, 1974 in İzmir and trained at the Acting Department of the Dokuz Eylül University Conservatory. He began his stage career in 1992 with the Konak Municipal Theatre, making his debut playing a postman in the play "Alamanya'dan Bir Yar Gelir Bizlere," before moving to television in 1998 with the series Aynalı Tahir.

In the years that followed he appeared in numerous series such as Çemberimde Gül Oya, Sev Kardeşim, Arka Sokaklar, Bu Kalp Seni Unutur mu?, İffet, Umutsuz Ev Kadınları and Herşey Yolunda Merkez, while also taking film roles in productions like Çanakkale 1915 and Kırımlı. Later in his career he reached wider audiences through characters in the historical series Filinta "Bir Osmanlı Polisiyesi," Uyanış: Büyük Selçuklu and Barbaros.

Across a career spanning more than three decades, Alkış has remained a steady presence in both television and film, established as one of Turkish screen drama's recognizable character actors.
