İffet is a Turkish drama series produced by Gold Film that aired on Star TV from September 17, 2011 to September 24, 2012, ending after two seasons with its 40th episode. It is a television adaptation of the 1982 film of the same name starring Müjde Ar, with Deniz Çakır, İbrahim Çelikkol and Mahir Günşıray in the leading roles.

The story follows young İffet, who lives with her father and younger sister in a modest Istanbul neighborhood and is in love with Cemil, a local taxi driver. Her life is shattered when Cemil rapes her on the night of a friend's wedding; she discovers she is pregnant while Cemil is forced to marry someone else. Swearing revenge, İffet's fortunes change when the wealthy businessman Ali İhsan falls in love with her and marries her. Beyond Türkiye, the series was broadcast in countries such as Serbia and Morocco, reaching a broad international audience.
