Innocence (Masumiyet) (translated)

Masumiyet (translated as Innocence) is a 2021 Turkish drama and psychological thriller series. Directed by Ömür Atay, written by Sırma Yanık and produced by Gold Film, it aired on FOX, beginning on 24 February 2021 and ending on 24 May 2021 after a single season of 13 episodes.

The story centers on Bahar, a married mother of two whose orderly world is upended when her 19-year-old daughter Ela becomes involved with the wrong man. Ela's first love is not a young man her own age but her father's 35-year-old boss, who is engaged to another woman. Despite Bahar's determined efforts to pull her daughter away from the relationship, she cannot change what is coming: an incident at Ela's 19th birthday party alters the entire family's life forever.

The leading roles are played by Hülya Avşar, Mehmet Aslantuğ, Deniz Çakır, İlayda Alişan, Serkay Tütüncü and Deniz Işın.
