Bülent İnal — Biography

Bülent İnal, whose full name is Mehmet Bülent İnal, was born on 19 May 1973 in the Hilvan district of Şanlıurfa. After a year studying Turkish Language and Literature at Ege University, his passion for theatre led him to transfer to the Acting program of Dokuz Eylül University's Faculty of Fine Arts, from which he graduated.

He first drew attention playing Urfalı Azad in Azad and a district governor in Kurşun Yarası, then had his real breakthrough as Yılmaz in Ihlamurlar Altında (2005). He went on to star in Kalpsiz Adam (2008), Bu Kalp Seni Unutur Mu? (2009) and, opposite Bergüzar Korel, Bitmeyen Şarkı (2010), before winning acclaim in Tatar Ramazan (2013). Cast as Sultan Abdul Hamid II in Payitaht Abdülhamid, which began in 2017 and ran for years on TRT1, he reached wide audiences in Türkiye and across the Arab world; he later played Rumi in a series streamed on TRT's tabii platform. In 2024 he portrayed the lawyer Mehmet Musluoğlu in Can Borcu and appeared in the film Hayatla Barış. In late 2025 he joined Kıskanmak as prosecutor Cihan Güneş, then signed with Ay Yapım for the new series Ömür Usta alongside Nurgül Yeşilçay, losing twelve kilograms for the role.
