Runners in the Dark (Karanlıkta Koşanlar) (translated)

Karanlıkta Koşanlar (Runners in the Dark) is a Turkish adventure and crime television series broadcast on TRT 1 in 2001. Written by Uğur Yücel as an adaptation of a story by Ahmet Ümit, the production also marked Yücel's first time directing a television series. The leading roles are shared by Uğur Yücel and Haluk Bilginer.

The series interweaves the police effort to solve a serial killer's murders with the outlooks on life of three childhood friends. Offering an unusually layered crime narrative for Turkish television of its era, the show was ended earlier than planned due to low ratings, concluding with its 10th episode.
