Sevcan Yaşar was born in 1990 in İzmir.
She completed her education in the Biology Department of the Faculty of Science at Ege University.
She later studied in the Theater Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Yeditepe University.
She came first in the 23rd Miss Model of World competition held in China.
After graduating from university, she began her career in 2012 with the series Kayıp Şehir.
