Uğur Aslan — Biography
Uğur Aslan, born on 9 February 1972 in the Reyhanlı district of Hatay, is a Turkish television, film and theatre actor and musician. A graduate of the Theatre Department of the Faculty of Languages, History and Geography at Ankara University, Aslan began his screen career in 2008 with the series Derdest.
After series such as Aile Reisi, Yer Gök Aşk, Karadayı and Kayıp, he made his big breakthrough in 2015 with the role of Zehir in Kara Sevda. As the only Turkish series to win an International Emmy, Kara Sevda made him known worldwide; he then appeared in the series Siyah Beyaz Aşk and the 2017 film Daha.
In Yargı, which began in 2021 and was nominated for an International Emmy, he portrayed Eren Duman; in 2025 he played Önder in Sahtekarlar and in 2026 appeared as Miran in Show TV's series Delikanlı. Married to screenwriter Sema Ergenekon, the artist also takes to the stage as a musician.
