Head of the Family (Aile Reisi) (translated)

Aile Reisi is a Turkish television series produced by Base Productions and broadcast on Star TV in 2009. Blending family and romantic comedy elements, the series ended its run with its 18th and final episode.

The story centers on the home life of Nazım and Bahar, a couple with four children. Despite being very different in character, the pair has reversed conventional family roles: Bahar works as an architect at a large company, while Nazım, who left university to become a plumber, takes care of the children and the household. In spite of their disagreements, love is what keeps the family together. The twins' university exam stress, the mischief of the youngest child Sonay, and the good-natured rivalry between the nanny Fevriye and grandmother Tülin bring energy and humor to the narrative. The series stars Emre Kınay, Feyza Işık, and Uğur Aslan.
