Çağla Demir — Biography
Çağla Demir was born in Samsun on 15 July 1992. She trained as an actress in the acting department of Başkent University's Faculty of Communication, and also studied at Tümay Özokur's workshop. Alongside acting she has worked as a model.
Her first television role was Ceren in the 2014 second season of the series Medcezir. She then played the character Çağla across two seasons of Kara Sevda, and in 2017 portrayed Ece in Siyah İnci, which starred Hande Erçel, Tolgahan Sayışman and Berk Hakman. In 2018 she appeared in the series Kocaman Ailem as Elif Ateş, a tough-minded woman who has broken off several engagements. In 2020 she had a film role in Bayi Toplantısı.
In March 2021 she joined the cast of Çukur as Leyla as the series approached its final season. In September 2023 she became part of Yargı, led by her former Kara Sevda co-star Kaan Urgancıoğlu, playing the character Ela. In 2026 she was on screen as Elif in the series Kıskanmak.
