Hüseyin Avni Danyal — Biography

Hüseyin Avni Danyal was born on 12 April 1962 in Trabzon. He attended secondary school and high school at Aydınlıkevler High School in Ankara, where his family had moved. In 1985 he graduated from the Theatre Acting Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Dokuz Eylül University. After his post at the Ankara State Theatre, he appeared on stage at the Bursa State Theatre between 1988 and 1994. He was introduced to television with the series Dost Eller and went on to appear in beloved series such as Ferhunde Hanımlar, Çemberimde Gül Oya, Hatırla Sevgili, Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu and Öyle Bir Geçer Zaman ki. In 2001 he was honoured with the Art Institution's Best Actor Award. In cinema he appeared in the films Aşk Tesadüfleri Sever, Güz Sancısı, Son Mektup and Delibal. The veteran actor, remembered for the roles of Tufan in Eşkıya Dünyaya Hükümdar Olmaz, Cemil in Şahsiyet and Fevzi Kaya in Kötü Kan, plays the character Esat in the series Sevdiğim Sensin in 2026.
