Hüseyin Avni Danyal — Biography

Hüseyin Avni Danyal was born on April 12, 1962, in Trabzon; his family later moved to Ankara, where he finished school and began doing amateur theatre in 1978-79. He entered the Theatre Acting Department of Dokuz Eylül University's Faculty of Fine Arts in 1981 and graduated in 1985; after stints with the İzmir and Ankara State Theatres, he performed with the Bursa State Theatre from 1988 to 1994, later returned to the Ankara State Theatre for productions such as Getto, and also directed plays including Asiye Nasıl Kurtulur and Azizname.

He was introduced to television audiences through the series Dost Eller, received the Art Institution's Best Actor Award in 2001, and gained wide recognition playing Yalçın Bulut in Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu from 2007 to 2010. On screen he appeared in films including Güz Sancısı, Aşk Tesadüfleri Sever, Son Mektup and Delibal. Known for playing Tufan in Eşkıya Dünyaya Hükümdar Olmaz, Cemil in Şahsiyet and Fevzi Kaya in Kötü Kan, he currently plays Esat Aldur in the 2026 series Sevdiğim Sensin.
