Brave Heart (Cesur Yürek) (translated)

Cesur Yürek ("Brave Heart") is a Turkish action drama that ran on Show TV during the 2016-2017 season. Produced by Fark Film and directed by Emre Kabakuşak, the series is headlined by Onur Tuna, Rüveyda Öksüz, Hüseyin Avni Danyal and Hakan Yufkacıgil.

Onur Tuna plays Ömer Korkmaz, a man with nothing to rely on but his heart and his fists, who is drawn into a hard fight on behalf of his family, his neighbourhood and his friends. Opposite him, Rüveyda Öksüz portrays Berrin, an idealistic lawyer caught in a painful dilemma: the man she loves is a street tough who has chosen to deliver justice with his own hands.

Unable to reach the ratings it hoped for, the show came to an end with its 21st episode, broadcast on 16 March 2017. Faik Ergin, Kenan Acar and Özcan Varaylı also appear in the cast.
