Faik Ergin — Biography

Born in İskenderun, Faik Ergin graduated from the English College in Libya and İskenderun Anadolu High School before earning a civil engineering degree from Istanbul Technical University. After his engineering studies he turned to modelling, winning the Best Model of Turkey and Best Model of World titles in 2000, the same year he made his first screen appearance in a minor role in the television film Fosforlu Cevriye. After training as an actor at the Şahika Tekand Studio, he made his cinema debut playing Selim Sayar in the film Şarkıcı. He went on to play Berk Şadoğlu in the 2005 series Gümüş, followed by roles in Hacı, Genco and Uygun Adım Aşk. Between 2013 and 2014 he appeared in Galip Derviş and Küçük Ağa, played Murat in Cesur Yürek from 2016 to 2017, and around the same time took the role of Kemal in Kanatsız Kuşlar. He joined the cast of Payitaht Abdülhamid in 2020 and has appeared in Metamorfoz: Kırılma since 2023. He has also performed on stage in the play Ayışığı Tarifesi and appeared in several music videos.
