Mustafa Avkıran — Biography
Mustafa Avkıran was born on 3 March 1963 in Gaziantep. After graduating from the Theatre Department of the Mimar Sinan University State Conservatory in 1983, he joined the Istanbul State Theatre, completed a master's degree at the same university and for a time served as the manager of the Antalya State Theatre. In 1995 he co-founded the Antalya 5. Sokak Theatre with his wife Övül Avkıran and Naz Eray, and in 2000 he founded İSM 2. Kat; he is also among the founders of Garaj İstanbul.
Beginning his screen career in 1987 with the series Ateşten Günler, Avkıran appeared in popular series such as Yılan Hikayesi, Kınalı Kar, Ezo Gelin, Yaprak Dökümü, Kuzey Güney, Filinta, Kaçak and Yeni Gelin, and became known in cinema with the films Sokaktaki Adam, İstanbul Kanatlarımın Altında, Kayıkçı, Mutluluk, Av Mevsimi and Delibal.
In recent years he has acted in the series Azize, İçimizden Biri and Adım Farah; in 2025 he appeared in the film Bak Postacı Geliyor and took on the character Eyüp in the series Sahtekârlar.
