Henna-Colored Snow (Kınalı Kar) (translated)

Kınalı Kar is a Turkish drama series produced by Yağmur Ajans and broadcast on Kanal D between 2002 and 2004, concluding with its 90th episode after three seasons. The leading roles were shared by Emrah, Özlem Conker, Engin Şenkan, Mustafa Avkıran and Nurseli İdiz. The series received the Golden Butterfly Award for Best Series.

The story portrays the intertwined love lives of several people in the fictional village of Kınalı Kar, most notably that of Ali, a teacher who abandons his comfortable city life to work in a neglected rural community, and the headstrong village girl Nazar. In 2009 the series was dubbed into Arabic and aired daily on MBC 4, reaching a broad audience across the region.
