The Carefree Ones (Kaygısızlar) (translated)

Kaygısızlar (The Carefree Ones) is a Turkish comedy television series that aired between 1994 and 1998. Written by Tükenmezkalem Film Group, the series ran for four seasons, concluding with a total of 121 episodes. Throughout its run, the series was broadcast on different channels – Kanal D, Star TV, and Kanal 6 – and enjoyed considerable popularity during their respective eras.

At the center of the story is Memnun Kaygısız, a womanizing man from Ordu. Having numerous children from his various marriages, Memnun struggles to support his large family and decides to move to Istanbul to stay with his army friend, İsmail. From this point on, İsmail, his wife Zeynep, and their landlords find themselves in trouble due to this noisy and large group of guests.

Throughout its long run, the cast changed frequently; Dolunay Soysert, Şenay Gürler, Zeyno Eracar, Gürkan Uygun, Okan Yalabık, Ercan Yazgan, and Ülkü Duru were among the actors who appeared in different seasons. Although the broadcast days and channels changed as the seasons progressed, the series is remembered as one of the memorable comedy productions of its time.
