Little Secrets (Küçük Sırlar)

Küçük Sırlar is a Turkish teen drama created by Timur Savcı and produced by Tims&B Productions. It premiered on Kanal D on 14 July 2010, moved to Star TV from its nineteenth episode, and concluded on 2 September 2011 after 55 episodes across two seasons. Adapted from the American series Gossip Girl, it follows the privileged teenagers of Istanbul's Etiler district and the secrets, romances and rivalries that shape their lives. At the center stands Su Mabeynci (Sinem Kobal). Her closest friend Arzu (İpek Karapınar), neglected by her wealthy and domineering mother, is insecure and both adores and envies Su. Around them orbit Çetin 'Çet' Ateşoğlu (Burak Özçivit), the son of a rich businessman; Ayşegül Yalçın (Merve Boluğur), the school's most popular girl and Çet's stepsister; Ali (Kadir Doğulu), Çet's womanizing best friend; and Demir Karaman (Birkan Sokullu), a middle-class boy whose sister Meriç (Ecem Uzun) also enters this glittering but treacherous world. The series became a favorite of young Turkish audiences of its era.
