Merve Boluğur — Biography
Born in Istanbul, Merve Boluğur attended Nişantaşı Nuri Akın Anadolu Lisesi and briefly studied in a preparatory program for Kadir Has University before training in acting at the Müjdat Gezen Art Center. After small film and commercial roles, she made her cinema debut in 2005 with Keloğlan Kara Prens'e Karşı and her television breakthrough in 2006 as Ayşegül in Acemi Cadı. She went on to appear in Aşk Yeniden, Kül ve Ateş, Küçük Sırlar and Kuzey Güney, and took one of her best-known roles in 2013 as Nurbanu Sultan in the fourth season of Muhteşem Yüzyıl.
After serving as the face of Rexona, she became Maybelline New York's first Turkish brand ambassador in 2014, and in 2018 launched her own cosmetics line. She last appeared on screen in 2017 as Ezgi in İçimdeki Fırtına, and statements to the press in 2026 revived talk of a possible comeback.
She was married to singer Murat Dalkılıç from 2015 to 2017, and briefly to DJ Mert Aydın in 2022.
