Kadir Doğulu — Biography
Born Abdulkadir Doğulu on 19 April 1982 in Mersin, Kadir Doğulu is the brother of fashion designer and musician Kemal Doğulu. He left a gastronomy program at Okan University unfinished and, after a connection through his brother led him to appear in Hande Yener's music video for Romeo, turned toward acting. He played Ali Erarslan in Küçük Sırlar in 2010 and Güney Samyeli in Pis Yedili the year after, then found his real breakthrough as Macit Arcaoğlu in Fatih Harbiye, adapted from the Peyami Safa novel, where he met co-star Neslihan Atagül.
He took the role of Gökhan in Sevdam Alabora in 2015, the same year he played Mehmed Giray in the historical drama Muhteşem Yüzyıl: Kösem. Further roles followed as Alper in Bana Sevmeyi Anlat, in Babamın Günahları, and as Aziz Korkmazer in Vuslat, then Fırat Karasu in Aşkın Tarifi and Kazım Işık in Gecenin Ucunda. He married Atagül on 8 July 2016, and the couple's son, born in 2025, is named Aziz.
