Inside (İçerde) (translated)

İçerde is a Turkish crime drama produced by Ay Yapım, drawing on the Hollywood film The Departed (itself an adaptation of an earlier Chinese production). The series premiered on Show TV on 19 September 2016 and concluded with its 39th episode on 19 June 2017. Directed by Uluç Bayraktar and produced by Kerem Çatay and Pelin Diştaş, the show drew mixed reviews overall but was praised for the performances of its two leads, Çağatay Ulusoy and Aras Bulut İynemli.

At the story's core are two brothers torn apart in childhood by crime boss Celal (Çetin Tekindor). Sarp (Çağatay Ulusoy) grows up within the ranks of law enforcement and infiltrates Celal's organization to settle old scores, while his kidnapped younger brother is raised by Celal as an adopted son under the identity Mert Karadağ (Aras Bulut İynemli) and planted inside the police as an inside man for the gang. Unaware that they are related, the two brothers are pitted against each other, forming the series' central conflict.
