Çetin Tekindor was born in 1945 in Sivas.

He completed his education at the Ankara State Conservatory.

He teaches Stage and Diction courses at Bilkent University and the Hacettepe University State Conservatory.

He provided the voice-over for the character McMillan in the series McMillan ve Karısı, and became known in this way.

In 1993, his face became recognized through the series Küçük Ağa.

His first feature film was Kaçamak, in which he shared the lead role with Müjde Ar.

In 2005, he appeared in the film Babam ve Oğlum, directed by Çağan Irmak, and the film caused a great stir throughout the country.

The veteran actor took part in major projects such as Bir İstanbul Masalı, Asi, Deli Saraylı, Karadayı, Bir Çocuk Sevdim, and Yılan Hikayesi.

He plays the character Celal in the newly launched series İçerde on Show TV.
