Çağatay Ulusoy — Biography

Çağatay Ulusoy is a Turkish actor and model born in Istanbul on September 23, 1990. While studying at Istanbul University's Faculty of Forestry, he won first place in the Best Model of Turkey competition in 2010; subsequently, he took acting lessons from Ayla Algan and continued his education at Akademi 35 Buçuk.

He made his television debut in 2011 with the character Emir Sarrafoğlu in the series "Adını Feriha Koydum" and entered the film industry that same year with "Anadolu Kartalları". He gained great fame with his portrayal of Yaman Koper in "Medcezir," which aired between 2013-2015; and played the lead role in the film "Delibal" in 2015. He appeared as Sarp in "İçerde," which started in 2016; and from 2018-2020, he took on the lead role in Türkiye's first Netflix series, "Hakan: Muhafız."

In subsequent years, he played leading roles in the film Paper Lives (2021) and the TV series The Tailor (2023); he returned to the screen in Kübra and Gaddar in 2024 and Eşref Rüya in 2025. Ulusoy, who has won numerous awards including the Golden Butterfly, also appeared in the film The Sleeper.
