Feyyaz Duman — Biography

Born in Mardin on 15 June 1982, Feyyaz Duman is a Kurdish-Turkish actor who graduated in folk dance from the State Conservatory of İstanbul Technical University, then spent five years training as an actor in New York before settling back in Turkey. His screen work opened with the 2001 feature Fotoğraf and continued through Azad, Tatlı Biber Diyarım, Mardan, Zagros and Never Leave Me. For Annemin Şarkısı he was named best actor at three separate festivals: Golden Orange, Sarajevo and Duhok. Television brought him into view in 2016 through İçerde, and wide popularity followed once he took on Arif in the Fox drama Kadın; he married Zozan Şimşek in 2019. His later credits include the series Baraj, Yalancılar ve Mumları, Oğlum and Adım Farah. A 2026 role in the atv drama Altı Üstü İstanbul coincided with his part in Emin Alper's Kurtuluş, a contender for the Golden Bear at that year's Berlin Film Festival.
