Caner Cindoruk — Biography

Caner Cindoruk, born on April 17, 1980 in Adana, is a Turkish theatre, film and television actor. The son of short-story writer Zafer Doruk, he spent his childhood backstage; he graduated from the Theatre Department of the Çukurova University State Conservatory and in 1997 became a professional actor at the Adana Seyhan Municipal Theatre, where he performed for ten years.

In 2006 he moved to Istanbul, making his cinema debut with Beynelmilel and his television debut with Kara Güneş. He became known for his roles as Doctor Nazmi in Yaprak Dökümü (2008) and Kemal in Hanımın Çiftliği (2009), and took his first leading role in Aramızda Kalsın (2013). He reached wide audiences with Kadın (2017) and with the role of Volkan Arslan in Sadakatsiz (2020). In 2026, he won a Best Actor award in Vietnam for playing Mesut in Emin Alper's Silver Bear-winning film Kurtuluş and joined the cast of TRT Tabii's series Modern Doğu Masalları.
